How Trades for Trades works
A service swap is simply two people helping each other out. You bring your skill, they bring theirs, and nobody reaches for their wallet.
1. Tell us what you offer
List the skills or services you're happy to trade, plus the things you'd love a hand with. You can add as many of each as you like.
2. Find someone with the skill you need
Browse by skill, category or location, or let us suggest people whose needs line up with what you offer.
3. Propose and chat privately
Send a proposal saying what you need and what you're offering back. Negotiate the details in private messages.
4. Agree a fair trade
When you're both happy, accept the trade. It appears on both dashboards so you can track it through to completed.
What about money?
Trades for Trades never processes payments and takes no cut. Members agree the scope, timing and rough value of each exchange between themselves. If a swap needs materials or parts, sort that out directly and put it in writing before you start.
